The Challenge
Trung Son Pharmacy operated 30+ brick-and-mortar stores with zero online presence. Their biggest challenge was not just building an e-commerce store, but managing complex pharmacy compliance rules: prescription verification, controlled substance tracking, and real-time inventory sync across all branches. They needed to launch fast to compete with well-funded pharmacy apps entering their market.
Our Solution
InApps delivered a 10-person team (4 full-stack engineers, 2 mobile engineers, 1 QA, 1 DevOps, 1 project manager, 1 UI/UX). We built a custom e-commerce platform plus companion mobile app with: prescription upload and pharmacist approval workflow, real-time inventory sync via webhook across all stores, same-day delivery routing with third-party logistics integration, and a loyalty program. Full compliance with Vietnam Ministry of Health digital pharmacy regulations.
