How We Work

Our Agile Delivery Process

Transparent, sprint-based delivery from day one. You see working software every 2 weeks, have direct access to your team, and always know exactly what is happening.

Our Core Principles

We follow the Agile Manifesto. These are not just values on a poster, they shape how every project is run.

Transparency Over Reports

You have direct access to your engineers, the codebase, and all project management tools. No black-box reporting.

Working Software Over Documentation

We ship working code every sprint. Documentation supports the work, it does not replace it.

Collaboration Over Contracts

We treat every engagement as a long-term partnership, not a fixed-price transaction to minimise.

Responding to Change Over Following a Plan

Requirements evolve. Our sprints are designed to accommodate changing priorities without derailing delivery.

The Delivery Journey

From first call to live product, every step, every deliverable, no surprises.

01

Discovery & Scoping

1–2 weeks

We start every engagement with a structured discovery phase. Our solution architects and project lead meet with your stakeholders to understand business goals, map user journeys, define success metrics, and identify technical constraints.

Key Deliverables
  • Requirements specification document
  • Technical architecture proposal
  • Team composition recommendation
  • Project roadmap with milestones
  • Risk assessment & mitigation plan
02

Team Formation & Onboarding

1–2 weeks

Your dedicated team is assembled from our pre-vetted engineer pool. You review CVs and conduct technical interviews. Once approved, engineers are onboarded into your tools, repositories, and communication channels, ready to ship in sprint 1.

Key Deliverables
  • Team CVs and interview sessions
  • Development environment setup
  • Repository and CI/CD pipeline configuration
  • Communication channel integration (Slack, Teams, etc.)
  • Sprint 0 kick-off and tooling alignment
03

Agile Sprint Development

Ongoing (2-week sprints)

Core delivery follows Scrum with 2-week sprints. Each sprint has a clear goal, defined user stories, daily standups, and a sprint review demo. You see working software every 2 weeks, not just status reports.

Key Deliverables
  • Daily standups (async updates for timezone gaps)
  • Sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Working software demo every 2 weeks
  • Sprint retrospective and process improvement
  • Weekly written progress report
04

Quality Assurance & Code Review

Quality is built in, not bolted on at the end. Every pull request goes through peer code review. QA engineers run automated and manual tests in parallel with development. We target 80%+ unit test coverage on all new code.

Key Deliverables
  • Pull request reviews with 2-engineer approval
  • Automated unit, integration, and E2E tests
  • Performance and load testing before major releases
  • Accessibility auditing (WCAG 2.1 AA)
  • Security scanning (SAST, dependency audit)
05

Staging & UAT

Each major release cycle

Before any code reaches production, it goes to a staging environment that mirrors production. Stakeholders conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bugs are triaged and fixed, and a release approval gate ensures nothing ships without sign-off.

Key Deliverables
  • Staging environment with production parity
  • UAT test plan and execution
  • Bug triage and resolution tracking
  • Release approval workflow
  • Rollback plan documentation
06

Production Launch

Per release cycle

Deployments are automated via CI/CD pipelines with blue/green or canary strategies to eliminate downtime. We monitor error rates, performance metrics, and user behaviour in real time and are on-call for critical issues post-launch.

Key Deliverables
  • Zero-downtime deployment via CI/CD
  • Post-deployment smoke tests
  • Real-time monitoring (DataDog/CloudWatch)
  • On-call support (24-hour response SLA)
  • Post-launch performance report
07

Ongoing Iteration & Support

Continuous

After launch, your ODC team continues with the same cadence, shipping new features, fixing bugs, improving performance, and evolving the product. Monthly business reviews keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and roadmap.

Key Deliverables
  • Monthly business reviews and roadmap updates
  • Continuous feature development in sprints
  • Proactive performance and security monitoring
  • Engineer welfare and retention management by InApps
  • Annual team capability review and upskilling plan

Inside a 2-Week Sprint

Each sprint is a complete delivery cycle with clear entry and exit criteria.

Day 1
Sprint Planning

Team selects stories from backlog, estimates effort, and commits to sprint goal.

Days 1–9
Development & QA

Engineers build and QA tests run in parallel. Daily async standups keep everyone aligned.

Day 10
Sprint Review Demo

Live demo of working software to all stakeholders. Feedback captured for next sprint.

Day 10
Retrospective

Team reflects on process. Action items improve the next sprint.
